Future Initiative
Community Resilience
Before the storm, a neighbor checks on a senior. After the storm, a neighborhood knows how to respond. Your gift helps launch FAMA's Community Resilience Core.
What This Area Does
Community Resilience is a future FAMA initiative — designed to treat a neighborhood like living infrastructure that can prepare, respond, and recover together. It builds on the relationships and volunteer teams FAMA already has in place.
Your gift helps us move this initiative from concept to launch: building resident readiness, standing up volunteer teams, identifying vulnerable neighbors before the emergency, and coordinating recovery when the worst happens.
